| Great idea, Shakes. Thanks. Okay, Angela, I'll just let you correspond with the Zipper since you've been in contact and so we don't bombard him. | |

| Pffftttt, you talk to the zipper too... you guys know when I go back to work, I'll have no talk time Plus, with you guys's knowledge of festivals and stuff, you're waaaay better Bombard away... I invited him here to monitor our shenanigans, we'll see if he shows If not, we'll just bombard the Ernie I was looking into this too: http://www.armedforcesentertainment.com/It doesn't say you HAVE to be American Entertaining American Troops is a great way to get face time... plus, they can go to Germany or anywhere else we have people... People may not support the war, but they could sing to the people Think of all the things our soldier boys and girls bring back from war... French Fries, Hamburgers, Spam etc...

| I'm not sure American troops are looking to be entertained by a Finnish band. Jessica Simpson, yes. I just didn't want to send him double information. | |

| Ok, I sent an email to a local promoter I know to see if he'd have any suggestions. And he has a few questions. Since I know nada about these guys, he's what he wants to know...
Michelle, Who is the band? What record label are they on? How long have they been together? Do they have money to underwrite their tour? Happy New Year, Jack

| I certainly can see the resemblance. Their eyes and even their features are a lot alike. But I never even thought about it until it was brought up. No, I didn't ask him anything about money. Thats the only question we don't have the answer to. I don't like asking people about money. | |

| Ok, Ok, after much googling of the Leto, (favorite American past time) I can see it a little, but The Man picked up on it right away Some people say he looks like Usher, and I don't see that either Have you guys seen the pics where Jared had to put on 65 lbs? it's icky, but his eyes are still amazing I don't like to ask people either, but I guess I will Probably just tell Ernie there is a post here that needs answering Tini, that festival is a brilliant idea, I wonder if there are any more like that in the states They could come for a hard 30 days or something...get the most for their Euro... | |

| Yay Thanks, Jonna! Send me some when you get them, Angela. There is nothing like SxSW in the states. Its a wonderful showcase for bands and a blast to go to. There are literally thousands of bands from all around the world with all degrees of popularity and a TON of things to do. The Eyes played there a couple of years ago, but I found out a couple of years too late. There are labels that come to check out bands to sign...thats what SxSW is all about. I have never been to anything like it. Streets are closed in Austin and millions of drunk people walking everywhere. Yeah, I've seen the fat Jared Leto Can't imagine doing that for a part. | |

| I say we go to this SxSW this year...when is it again? (too lazy to google anything not Leto related ) I sent Mike, Ern, and Bob info on what is called a "press package" maybe they'll put one together and it'll be easier to promote them, also told them about the promotion question in this thread somewhere, told them to look for green writing Yay Jonna! You're the bestest Finn EVA | |

He hasn't been able to offer much advice anyway other than 'sounds like it'll be a lot of work'. Well no shit sherlock! Thought he might have some leads on radio stations open to playing new stuff or something of the like. But eh, so far its been a waste of emails. There's a thing here in summer called Summerfest (real original huh?) but its 'supposed' to be the biggest music festival in the world with a ton of little stages along with the main ones. That might be a possibility.
